Sketchnote Lab Live Replay: December 2024
Sketchnotes and a full video replay (for subscribers) from this weekend's Sketchnote Lab Live, where I used sketchnotes to ideate possible solutions to a problem provided by my friend Antonio Iturra.
Saturday’s Sketchnote Lab Live workshop was a huge success! All 100 spots were purchased, and around 50 attended the live event!
After reading the initial brief and discussing details, I spent about 35 minutes on the problem my friend Antonio Iturra presented. This was very much a client discussion captured live, as this is a current challenge Antonio is working on.
The Q&A period was also beneficial. Several comments and suggestions furthered the possible solutions. It was fun, and it made me want to do another!
Sketchnotes from the session
I’ve decided to share my two sketchnotes created during the session with all subscribers so you can see the kind of sketchnotes I think can help move projects forward.
They aren’t something you put in a frame, but they are quite effective for guiding a discussion in the moment and valuable as a reference as the project progresses.
Sketchnote 1: Problem Space
Here’s my sketchnote mapping of how I perceived the problem after reviewing the brief and talking with Antonio about the issue he presented.
Watch the video below to see how it unfolds during the session.

Sketchnote 2: Ideation
My final sketchnote includes ideas for how we might solve the challenge. Note that an excellent point was made in the Q&A: interviews and visualizations with all group members would be best for solving this problem.
Watch the video below to see how it unfolds during the session.
